CZ Responds to Senator Warren's Comments on Cryptocurrency Threat to the US Economy
BlockBeats News, July 17th, CZ responded to U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren's comments on social media. Warren had previously warned that cryptocurrency could "destabilize" the U.S. economy, and claimed that companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) could evade SEC regulation through digitization. She stated that if Amazon, Meta, or General Motors chose to delist, it would severely damage NYSE's value.
CZ questioned Warren's attempt to restrict U.S. companies in the name of "protecting the U.S. economy," pointing out that NYSE is only a company fully owned by ICE with a market value of about $100 billion, while Amazon's market value has already reached $2.4 trillion. He emphasized: "NYSE is not equal to the economy. All companies collectively form the economy."
