WE-Launch upgrade: Average holdings snapshot now live

Dear WEEXers,

To make WE-Launch airdrop distribution fairer and better reward users who consistently hold WXT, WEEX is upgrading the WE-Launch participation system with a new average holdings snapshot.

Upgrade overview

After the upgrade, multiple random snapshots of your WXT spot holdings will be taken each hour to calculate the average holdings throughout the event.

Average hourly holdings = Total holdings from all snapshots during the hour ÷ number of snapshots taken that hour
Average holdings during the event = Sum of average hourly holdings throughout the event ÷ total event hours

Requirement: You need to maintain an average holding of ≥ 300 WXT during the event to qualify for the WE-Launch airdrop allocation.

Examples

Using a 3-day event (72 hours) as an example:

Scenario A: Eligible If you continuously hold 300 WXT throughout the event, your average holdings will remain at 300 WXT and you will qualify for the airdrop.
Scenario B: Not eligible If you hold 0 WXT for the first 48 hours and hold 600 WXT only during the final 24 hours, your average holdings will be: (0 × 48 + 600 × 24) ÷ 72 = 200 WXT. Since the result is below 300 WXT, you will not qualify for the airdrop.

Fairer distribution: Reduces the impact of short-term holding fluctuations on reward allocation.
Better long-term perks: Users who consistently hold WXT will enjoy a more reliable and rewarding WE-Launch experience.

Reminder

Briefly holding WXT only at the beginning of the event, or buying WXT shortly before the event ends, may still result in average holdings below the required threshold. To improve your chances of qualifying, prepare your WXT in advance and maintain stable holdings during the event.
