Best Bid & Offer (BBO) is a limit order type on WEEX that automatically places orders at the selected counterparty price or same-side price based on current market quotes, balancing execution speed and price precision.
What is a BBO order?
When placing a BBO order, you can choose between counterparty prices and same-side prices from the order book.
When buying
- You can place a limit order using the current counterparty price or same-side price.
- Counterparty price: Places your order at the selected ask price for a higher chance of execution.
- Same-side price: Places your order at the selected bid price, better for waiting for your preferred execution price.
When selling
- You can place a limit order using the current counterparty price or same-side price.
- Counterparty price: Places your order at the selected bid price for a higher chance of execution.
- Same-side price: Places your order at the selected ask price, better for waiting for your preferred execution price.
